Mi Chickadee is a homegrown project focused on making memories into useful things.
My mission is to get nostalgic t-shirt collections and other special items out of storage and made into something that can be present in your everyday life.
Mi Chickadee will work with you to create a quilt of memories for you, or someone you love, to use and cherish. I will work one-on-one with you to design your memory keepsake, adding your personalized touch.
Each keepsake tells a story and every story is unique. I am one of those people who say 'it doesn't feel like work because I love what I do!' The process of making a quilt is filled with rewarding elements. I am honored when people share their stories as we plan their quilt. I love the challenge of putting the quilt together (making everything fit), and the reactions I get when I deliver the finished product.

The Process
You and I will meet or I will give you instructions for mailing your items to me. When we talk, I will help you choose the various elements that will personalize your quilt. We will look at each item and discuss which elements you'd like to include, etc.
Using the order form and the notes that I take on my quilt worksheet, I will cut, assemble, and quilt your keepsake.
We will arrange a time to meet or I will mail your completed quilt back to you.
